Venue and map

The conference venue is The Pavilion Kiama, which is situated between the Kiama Blowhole and Surf Beach, is shown on the map below along with the locations of various accommodation options.

Transport

For those staying in central Sydney or arriving at Sydney Airport the train to Kiama is a good option. From the airport, the train takes about 2 hours 20 minutes and a single ticket costs $23.40. From Central Station, the train takes two and a quarter hours and a single ticket costs $10. For information and trip planning, please visit: www.transportnsw.info

From the airport by train take the T2 Airport Line from Domestic/International Airport Station to Wolli Creek Station and then change to the South Coast Line towards Kiama. At Wolli Creek, you would usually arrive on platform 2 and depart for Kiama on platform 4. Check station boards on the day to confirm. From Central Station, simply take the South Coast Line.

Alternative transport options for getting to Kiama will be posted closer to the event.

Following the last talk on Friday, a bus will take participants from the conference venue to Sydney Airport, arriving at the airport at approximately 5:30pm. Tickets are available as part of the registration process.

Accommodation

Some holiday cabins and hotel/motel rooms have been reserved for ANZAMP 2017. To book, please contact the provider directly.

Kiama is a very popular summer holiday destination and so it is important to book accommodation as early as possible.

Holiday cabins

Holiday cabins have been reserved for ANZAMP attendees at the holiday parks listed below. A range of 1 to 3 bedroom cabins have been reserved with prices ranging from $160 per night to $300 per night. These prices are discounted from the usual advertised prices. Contact the holiday parks directly to make a booking.

Note: You must advise that you are attending a conference at the Pavilion. Special booking conditions apply. Bookings made by ANZAMP delegates can be cancelled up to 2 months out from the reservation without any penalties. Cancellations one month out from the booking that can be re-booked by the holiday park will be refunded 100% of the deposit paid. Other cases will probably not be refunded. Check with the cabins for precise details.

Motels and hotels

The Sebel Kiama Harbourside has some rooms reserved at the discounted rate of $220 (including breakfast) for ANZAMP delegates.

The Kiama Shores Motel has some rooms reserved for ANZAMP delegates at discounted rates starting at $169 per night.

The Gerringong Mercure is a 10 minute drive from Kiama. If you will have a car at the meeting, this may be another option.
